Reminisce the good old days this September at the annual Silver Arts festival!

Back for its seventh edition, the event that is organised by the National Arts Council offers an array of theatre and musical performances that showcase the creative talents of senior citizens through the co-created content, or learning a new skill, enhancing their overall well-being.

From collaborations with artists, arts organisations and community partners, the festival provides opportunities for the seniors to also share their stories that shape our collective memories, and forge stronger intergenerational understanding.

This year’s festival will take place over four weeks from 6 to 30 September islandwide. Check out programmes near you at Our Tampines Hub: a Mandarin folktale theatre performance Tortoise Tales on 6 Sep (2.30pm & 7.30pm), and a free movie screening of P Ramlee classic Seniman Bujang Lapok on 14 Sep (7pm). Do bring your parents, grandparents and family to enjoy this year’s offerings!
